The Global Network of Women Peacebuilders (GNWP) and the Democracy Development Center (DDC) together with the NGO “Unity for the Future” are implementing the project “Comparative Advantage of Local Women Peacebuilders: Integrating Women, Peace and Security into the Triple Nexus of Humanitarian Action, Development and Peacebuilding in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Palestine, Uganda and Ukraine”. The initiative will be implemented during 2026-2028, its first phase, in particular, involves conducting a study on ecology.
The project also includes a media workshop on women, peace and security within the framework of the triple nexus; holding a National Peace Forum; increasing organizational capacity and supporting local and women’s peacebuilding organizations; and providing media scholarships to highlight and strengthen the connection between women, peace and security.
