A representative of the NGO “Democracy Development Center” participated in the work of the international feminist conference in the United Kingdom

On October 10-12, 2025, in Brighton (United Kingdom), the international feminist "FiLiA Conference 2025" was held. українською

The conference was attended by a representative of the NGO “Democracy Development Center” (Kyiv, Ukraine), gender expert Maria Dmytrieva.

In particular, during the third day of the conference, a session on the dangers and violations of the rights of women and children, caused by the practice of surrogacy, was organized.

The women present spoke about their experiences while engaging in this dangerous practice in the UK, the USA and France, and how the organizations ICASM (International Coalition against Surrogate Motherhood) and Stop surrogacy UK helped them to overcome these consequences.
